I just found this area to post my question after posting it in the headrest section.
I would like to get information on removing the soft top that's bolted in the back of my 07 Sahara. I just bought the vehicle yesterday and am not ready to use the soft top. Removing this top looks difficult and I don't want to damage anything. Apparently, the hard top has to be removed first and I'm wondering if I should just let the service department do all of this for me.
Any advise?
Thanks

Hi everyone. I just purchase a jk rubicon about a month ago. I hate to report that I broke the right front outer shaft.
Does anyone know if I can use the older outer shaft from the TJ? I am willing to buy this axle shaft from anyone with superior shafts installed.

thanks in advance

PS It was my fault, too much gas pedal with an undercut boulder against the right tire.

i would suggest go to poision spyder customs and contact them and ask when they will be coming out for a trail rated front stinger bumper for your jeep. Those bumpers look good and it protects your hood and your radiator in case of roll over. Theres my 2 cents.

I'm really impressed with everything Poison Spider Customs is doing. Great looking stuff, and really looks like some quality equipment. And of course there's the "Bad Ass" factor you get with all their goods!

I agree completely about the headrests. These almost kept us from getting one (wife couldn't get past the discomfort). If you find a good aftermarket replacement please let me know (**e-mail address removed for security**). Thanks.

The front bumper from http://www.aev-conversions.com is kick ass. Has factory styling and an intigrated winch and uses the factory fog lamps. They also have a skid plate to replace the plastic one under this bumper. Nice product, comes out in Jan. 07.
