The Dana 30 is a very common front axle in Jeeps of all kinds. It has also been used in other applications such as Broncos and Scouts. There is a carrier break at the 3.54 / 3.73 ratios. If you are switching from a ratio on one side of that break to a ratio on the other side you will need a new carrier to install the ring and pinion.

Computer controlled machining is followed by the latest gear cutting technology and superior heat-treating.
