Fantastic!
I- 've got one of these in a YJ with a Ford 8.8 swap. The locker has been very reliable and has worked flawlessly. Then only advice I would offer is to not take any shortcuts in install and be sure to use lock-tite on the cross shaft retaining bolt (you don't want to know). Furth- er, Auburn's Technical Support was fantastic. I made a couple of mistakes when installing the locker and they were very helpful in sorting them out.
It was very easy to install the instructions are word for word. The locker has been really relilable and held up good!
I ordered this to replace a stock rebuilt Posi unit in my Cherokee rear end which is now a ford 8.8.
The install is no different then a stock unit up untill you get to the wire routing. That is just as basic as running a set of driving lights say. Drill the housing, thread in the adaptor, pull the wires though, then slide on the rubber seal and then the cap. Then route the wife away from heat and moving parts up though to the cab and to the switch.
Only advise I could give would be to make sure you have a notched ECTED center pin if your at 4:56 ratio or numerically higher, before you s | |||||||||
