Product Description

Our newest offering, the SSR is a premium monotube highpressure gas shock that features a remote oil reservoir. This design is the most effective at dissipating performance-killing heat; the remote reservoir provides increased oil capacity to further reduce operation temperatures. Like the SS, the shock body is silver Zinc plated, plus it has a clear powder topcoat for exceptional appearance and finish life. The SSR performs as well as it looks. Its Nitride hardened shaft, more durable than chrome, is 5/8" in diameter, compared to ½” shafts found in some other remote units. Piston diameter is a beefy 46 mm, and vehicle-specific valving ensures the best possible ride and control characteristics. When clearance permits, the remote reservoir is “piggy-backed” onto the shock body to simplify installation. Certain applications dictate that the reservoir be mounted to the vehicle separately, then connected to the shock body via a section of high-quality braided stainless steel hose. Premium SSR shocks are purchased separately, and not packaged with any lift system.

Superlift Superide Select Series Remote (SSR) resevoir shocks are available with attached “piggy back” style resevoir for space restrictive mounting applications (top) or multi-positionable style resevoir for “flexible” mounting applications (bottom). Most rear shocks are piggy-back style, most front shocks are multi-positionable with a hose.
