So what sets these hoses apart from the others? It starts with a Teflon inner bladder surrounded by Kevlar™ reinforcing braid. Yes, that’s the same stuff used in bulletproof vests. Surrounding this Kevlar braid is a rubber sheathing, followed by a layer of 300-series stainless steel braid . Finally, an outer plastic sheathing with a gold tint encases the finished hose.

Another unique feature to Superlift’s BULLETPROOF hoses is the use of a steel leader at the caliper end, similar to most original equipment hoses. This leader ensures that the hose stays properly routed away from chafing hazards, such as the tires and wheels, suspension, and drivetrain components.
