Product Description

The Land Cruiser features solid axles front and rear suspended by leaf springs positioned below the axles. Black Diamond is world renown for Land Cruiser and Jeep lift systems, and it's our leaf spring design that separates us from the herd. The 3" 'Cruiser leafs feature the same "no compromise" design elements of our CJ leafs. Tapered leaf plates, anti-friction pads, and light spring rates combine to give you full suspension articulation and unbeatable ride quality.

Two design elements are specifically incorporated to reduce spring stress, which extends service life. First, the tension side of each leaf plate is shot-peened. Secondly, the springs feature a relatively flat seat (where the spring mates to the axle), so the spring pack is not "fighting" the clamping force generated by the U-bolts.
