Black Diamond 3.5" Jeep Wrangler YJ Lift (1987-96)

Product Description

The CJ was replaced with the YJ Wrangler in 1987. It was still a leaf-sprung vehicle, but front and rear track bars, along with a front anti-sway bar were added to enhance vehicle stability.

Black Diamond offers the 3.5" YJ replacement spring lift systems.

The 3.5" system has many components. First, the 3.5" leaf springs feature the same "no compromise" design elements of our CJ leafs… Tapered leaf plates, anti-friction pads, and light spring rates combine to give you full suspension articulation and unbeatable ride quality. Also, double wrapped spring eyes (military wraps) enhance durability and safety. Shot-peening and the use of flat seats reduce spring stress, which increases spring life. Polyurethane spring eye bushings are included as well.

The base YJ system also includes a complete U-bolt kit with self-locking hardware, transfer case lowering kit, longer front anti-sway bar links, hardware to relocate the front and rear track bars, compression travel-stops, and brake hose relocation brackets. Our dropped pitman arm is recommended to reduce steering linkage angles.
